Coaching and Group Training Programs for Competitive and Beginning Runners

The Athletic Annex Running Club has been created to offer coaching and group running year around to those interested in improving performance or enjoying the social aspects of running with a group.
 
This is an evolution of the training programs offered by the Athletic Annex for more than 20 years. Coaching and group running will be designed to benefit competitive runners as well as beginners and those in between. For the beginner or fitness runner we will have casual runs and for those looking to improve performance we will offer more challenging training sessions. Call 872-0000 for specific dates and times. Come join us!

Mini Marathon Training ($60)

We want you to join us for an enjoyable and informative 13 weeks of training for the 2006 Indianapolis Mini-Marathon. The Mini has become so successful because it offers a place for everyone. Do you want to reach your competitive best? Do you want to enjoy the fitness and social benefits that come from training with a group? Or do you simply want to say, “I did it!” Whatever your motivation to run the “Mini”, the Athletic Annex Training Program is for you. 
 
You can meet with the group once or several times each week for group training and a time of brief instruction (see this brochure for days, times, and places). Tuesdays will be a quality session at beginner to advanced levels. Saturdays will be the long run of the week. Fill out the Mini Marathon Training Program Form.

 

Marathon Training Program ($80)

Please join us for 18-24 weeks of training for the fall distance race of your choice. The Athletic Annex Training Program is designed to meet your needs. Do you want to increase your fitness or do you want to compete? Are you looking to set a new Personal Best or would you like to qualify for Boston? Or do you simply want to share your passion for running with a great group of people?

 
We offer group training and instruction as well as support and encouragement to help you succeed. This will give you an opportunity to benefit from training with others and talk to the coaches about your training progress.

  2. A staff of coaches able to personalize your training to meet your needs. Life does not always adhere to a plan, so we may need to adapt the plan to you.
